Fine jewellery should last a lifetime, but it needs servicing and care. You should bring your pieces in for an annual servicing; to ensure there are no loose claws, that no damage or knocks have occurred. By taking care of your jewellery, you can preserve the quality and magnificence for years to come.

What is an ultrasonic cleaner?

This machine is a tool to clean small and delicate objects like jewellery. It uses ultrasounds to agitate a fluid, usually water, providing cleaning effects to the jewellery-by removing all residues quickly and efficiently.

How to use the ultrasonic cleaner?

Here is a tutorial video of how to use the ultrasonic cleaning machine. All you need to do is put some water in the machine, a quick squirt of washing soap and your jewellery. After 10 minutes, they will be clean and ready to shine again.

When it comes to an ultrasonic, you should use it about every 2 to 4 weeks, depending how dirty your jewellery is. The most important thing with an ultrasonic is that it’s only to be used with a select type of jewellery.

What jewellery is suitable for the cleaner?

Whilst there are no chemicals, it’s only suitable for these diamonds and gemstones:

Solid gold (as long as it has none of the at risk gemstones or pearls listed).

Platinum (as long as it has none of the at risk gemstones or pearls listed).

Lab grown diamonds, Grey diamonds,  Classic mined or recycled diamonds, Sapphires and Silver.

Never use it for Any Pearls, Aquamarine, Emeralds, Black diamonds, Tourmalines, Gold plated, Opals, Rubies, Tanzanite, Star Ruby, Star sapphire and Costume jewellery.
